This is the second collection inspired by the exciting free spirit of creativity and culture of the The Weimar Republic in 1920s Berlin. During this time a golden age of the Avant Garde bloomed and grew leading to the Bauhaus and many other artistic and cultural innovations. Berlin 2 celebrates the exploration of photography as an art form that began to appear for the first time during the 20’s. This collection reflects the use of light, shadow and form these early photographic creatives used in their images adding focal colour to connect the creativity of Berlin then and now.
